|PEOPLE - THE JAPANESE|
At this point, I would like to give a very personal description of individual types of people
who are particularly noticeable to me because they are different from here in Europe
or because I have just met a larger number of people of this kind.
This does not mean, however, that all Japanese are classified into these groups. The Austrian is, after all, not only an impatient trachtenjanker (traditional vest), who sings “the phylloxera” (traditional Viennese song) at the Heurigen with the Mozart wig and finds his golden Viennese heart in the wine.
Even if the observer sometimes has to smile, it does not mean that I want to make fun of myself or to value something, but only summarize what I have noticed so much.
The schoolchildren are very uniform in their school uniforms with the white shirts or blouses and dark pants or skirts.
This category includes women younger to middle-aged. Minnie-Mouse, because representatives of this group somehow reminds me to the Minnie-Mouse. They like to emphasize their legs by a short miniskirt. The foot position is usually somewhat oblique, with the tip of the toes facing each other and the averted heels. They have long, smooth hair, which they drop as a curtain in the train to sleep. The IJI has no meaning; It is only invented by myself as these types are somehow sweet. They usually have one hand angled; this one holds the mobile phone, with which they are constantly communicating via text messages. In the flexion of the elbow joint is the handbag or shopping bag. The other hand sometimes holds an umbrella.
This is again a term I invented, and stands for young people and young adults dressed as their idols from the Japanese comic books - the manga.
THE JAPANESE MAN
The typical Japanese of younger and middle age seems quite unobtrusive in his dark suit with a light shirt. You can find him mainly during the peak hours in the morning and in the evening. He is very polite, nimble, and agile, and knows what he wants.
This type is women in retirement age. They are energetic, fit and active. They usually have short or half-bodied gray hair and now, in their free time, they follow their favorite activities, such as hiking, traveling, meetings and cultural events. They are very nice and helpful.
The garden is in the retirement age a very popular hobby. Here you can find the species Gardener Grandpa. His hallmarks are the rubber boots for the rice field and the straw hat or the baseball cap against the sun.
