Am 4. Juni 2016 gab es nun schon zum 4. Mal in einigen alten Höfen rund um den Hauptplatz das KORNEUBURGER HÖFEFEST.
Die letzten Tage vor der Veranstaltung hatten wir schon etwas gezittert, denn es wäre ja schade gewesen, wenn die viele Arbeit, die wir in unser gemeinsames Fest investiert hatten durch ein Gewitter zunichte gemacht worden wäre. Wir hatten aber Glück! Das Gewitter kam am Samstag zu Mittag, und am Nachmittag gab's schönes Wetter. Die Eröffnung erfolgte wieder auf dem Hauptplatz vor dem Rathaus durch Bürgermeister Christian Gepp und Stadtrat Andreas Minnich. Der Chor der Musik NMS Korneuburg und die Blue Stars Cheerleader sorgten für einen schwungvollen Start des Höfefestes. Im Anschluss daran ging es dann mit einem umfangreichen und sehr vielfältigen Programm in den 8 Höfen weiter - Rathaushof, Minnichhof, Gwölbhof, Qubehof, Lebzeltergasse 5, Pfarrhof, Augustinerhof, Kaiserhaushof - und das bis spät in die Nacht hinein. Der Pfarrhof öffnete in diesem Jahr zum ersten Mal auch schon am Nachmittag seine Tore mit einem vollen Programm vom Start weg. Ich war mit meinen Fotos im GWÖLBHOF. Es war wieder ein tolles Programm mit interessanten Auftritten und vielen neuen Kunstwerken. Es gab aber auch genug Zeit für viele nette Gespräche und natürlich war für Essen und Trinken wieder bestens gesorgt. Hier habe ich einige meiner Fotos:

Vom Donnerstag, dem 16. Juni bis zum Sonntag, 19. Juni 2016 fand im Flockerlhof in Klement das schon traditionelle Sommerfest statt.
In einem wunderschönen Weinviertler Bauernhof gab es an diesem Wochenende Kunst und Kunsthandwerk.
Zur Stärkung gab's Nudelsalat, Gulasch und Bier oder Kaffee und Kuchen.
Kinderschminken vom Jugendrotkreuz und eine Hüpfburg boten auch den jüngeren Gästen Spaß und Unterhaltung.
Am Sonntag sorgte die Trommlergruppe BATALA mit ihren tollen Darbietungen für große Stimmung und Begeisterung unter den Anwesenden.
Ich war von Freitag bis Sonntag mit einigen Fotos bei der Veranstaltung dabei.

Der Sommer ist auch die Zeit, in der in unserer Umgebung viele schmackhafte Früchte reifen.
Zusätzlich zu der traditionellen Marillenmarmelade habe ich in diesem Jahr ein paar Varianten ausprobiert, die durchaus interessante Geschmackserlebnisse bieten: Marille-Schokolade, Marille-Mango und Marille-Rosenblüten.

Dieses Mal habe ich für Euch vier Lieder ausgesucht, die auf unterschiedliche Weise, etwas mit dem Sommer zu tun haben.
"Weiße Pferde" ist meiner Meinung nach eines der poetischsten Balladen des großartigen österreichischen Musikers Georg Danzer. Georg Danzer - Weiße Pferde Vor ein paar Tagen habe ich geschaut, was es in Frankreich Neues an Liedern so gibt in diesem Sommer. Dabei bin ich auf Céline Dion gestoßen - Ende August erscheint ein neues Album auf Französisch. Eines der neuen Chansons ist bereits veröffentlicht und ist auch in den Charts zu finden - "Encore un soir". Dieses Lied stammt aus der Feder von Jean-Jacques Goldman. Es ist ein Lied mit viel Poesie und Einfühlungsvermögen. "Noch einen Abend ... noch eine Stunde ... ein wenig von uns ... nicht alle ... einen Abend" Im Jänner dieses Jahres sind Ihr Ehepartner und auch ihr älterer Bruder an Krebs gestorben. Céline Dion - Encore un soir Das dritte Lied ist von Georges Moustaki. Diese Version ist auf Französisch und Griechisch - gesungen von Georges Moustaki und Dalares. Georges Moustaki ist in Alexandria geboren. Seine Vorfahren waren aus Griechenland, er ging nach Paris und wurde dort zum Star. In dem Lied "En Méditerranée" geht es um das Mittelmeer, welches von drei Kontinenten begrenzt ist. Moustaki erzählt von den Kindheitserinnerungen am Meer, den Propheten und Göttern dieses Kulturraumes, der Kunst und der Freiheit, die es in einigen Ländern leider nicht gibt. Es haben sich zwar seit jenen Tagen einige Dinge verändert, im Grunde haben aber die kritischen Zwischentöne ihre Aktualität leider noch immer nicht verloren ... Was ist denn das? Ganz einfach ... es ist eine Eismaschine. Oben kommen Eiswürfel hinein, dann wird gedreht und unten kommt das geschabte Eis heraus ... ein paar Früchte dazu und Sirup drüber ... und fertig ist die Sommererfrischung! So ... jetzt wünsche ich Euch einen schönen Sommer und eine erholsame Zeit ... alles Liebe und bis bald Ich geh' dann mal zu meiner neuen Maschine ... |

On June 4th, 2016 already for the 4th time some old courtyards around the main square were open for the kultural programms
of the KORNEUBURUGER HÖFEFEST.
The last days before the event we had been a little bit afraid, because it would have been a pitty if all the work that we had invested in our common festival would be destroyed by a thunderstorm and rain. But we were lucky! The thunderstorm came on Saturday at noon and in the afternoon there was nice weather. The opening took place on the main square outside the town hall by mayor Christian Gepp and councillor Andreas Minnich. The choir Music NMS Korneuburg and Blue Stars Cheerleader ensured a lively start of the HÖFEFEST. After the opening there was a very extensive and varied program in the 8 courtyards - Rathaushof, Minnichhof, Gwölbhof, Qubehof, Lebzeltergasse 5, Pfarrhof, Augustinerhof, Kaiserhaushof - and until late into the night. The Pfarrhof (parrish) opened this year for the first time in the afternoon its doors with a full program from the beginning. I was with my photos in the GWÖLBHOF. It was again a great program with interesting performances and many new works of art. But there were also plenty of time for many good conversation and of course also for eating and drinking. From Thursday June 16,th to Sunday June 19,th 2016 the now traditional summer festival took place in the Flockerlhof in Klement.
On this weekend there was a lot of programm with arts and crafts in a typical beautiful Weinviertler Farm.
Beside the exhibitions you could also enjoy pasta salad, goulash and beer or coffee and cake.
Face painting from the Youth Red Cross and a bouncy castle also offered for younger guests fun and entertainment.
On Sunday, the members of the group of drummers BATALA were responsible for great mood and enthusiasm with their great performances.

Summer is also the time when in our environment ripe many tasty fruits.
In addition to the traditional apricot jam I've tried a few variations this year, they offer very interesting taste experiences : Apricot-chocolate, apricot-mango and apricot-rose petals.

This time I have selected for you four songs that have something to do in various ways with the summer .
"Weiße Pferde" ("White Horses") is in my opinion one of the most poetic ballads of the great Austrian musician Georg Danzer. Georg Danzer - Weiße Pferde A few days ago I have checked which new songs you will find in France this summer. Here I found Celine Dion - at the end of August she will release a new album in French. One of the new songs is already published and can also be found in the charts - " Encore un soir " ("Another evening"). This song was written by Jean - Jacques Goldman . It is a song with a lot of poetry and empathy. "Another evening ... another hour ... a little bit of us ... not all ... an evening " In January of this year her spouse and her older brother died of cancer . Céline Dion - Encore un soir The third song is by Georges Moustaki. This version is in French and Greek - sung by Georges Moustaki and Dalares. Georges Moustaki was born in Alexandria. His ancestors were from Greece , he went to Paris and became a star there. The song " En Méditerranée" ("In Mediterranean") is about the Mediterranean Sea, which is bordered by three continents . Moustaki tells about his memories of the childhood at the sea, prophets and gods, this cultural space, art and freedom, which unfortunately does not exist in some countries. There have indeed since those days changed some things, but some thoughts are unfortunately still contemporary issues ... What is this? Quite simply ... it's an ice machine. Up coming ice cubes into it , then rotated and the bottom comes out the shaved ice ... mix it with some fruits and a little bit of syrup over it ... and ready is the summer refreshment !
